A sport of H. 'Richland Surprise', this large size (22 inches high) cultivar was registered by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio in 2000. The leaves are green with a gold medial (center) variegation. It bears purple flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...the same as 'Clearfork Delight'...had been known as 'Richland Surprise Reversed'."
