Hosta 'Sea White Gold'

Part of the "Sea Series" of hostas, this plant was registered by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts in 1999. The parentage of this large size (24 inches high by 36 inches high) hosta is unknown. The leaves are slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. Very pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-June into July. It sets viable seeds in golden yellow pods.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar "...originated with Mildred Seaver in the early 1980s, but by 1992, the specimen at Wade & Gatton Nurseries was the only one in existence."
