A non-registered cultivar from Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin), this hosta is a sport of H. 'Rising Sun'. Its foliage is pale green with a gold colored marginal variegation. Forming an semi-upright mound, this cultivar grows to a large size with a height of about 24 inches with a spread of 41 inches. It bears pale purple flowers from mid-July into August.
