Hosta 'Shadow Wood Ruffles'
 

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2013, this slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size (12 inches high by 20 inches wide) hosta with golden yellow foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate to nearly round, moderately corrugated, moderately twisted, intensely wavy, moderately folded and dull on top. Tubular flowers bloom on scapes 10 to 12 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...undulation and wavy blade appearance on a very bright yellow leaf...on rare years can take on H. 'Fascinator' coloration..."
