Hosta 'Sherborne Profusion'

A second generation Tardiana-type seedling, this cultivar was registered in 1988 by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society (BHHS) on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It grows into a medium size hosta about 13 inches in height with a spread of 30 inches with slightly corrugated foliage with thick substance. The medium lavender flowers bloom very late in June into July.

Similar cultivars include H. 'Wagtail'.

According to a Google search, Sherborne is a market town in northwest Dorset, in South West England.
