A self-pollinated seedling of H. ventricosa 'Aureomarginata', this cultivar was registered by Russ O'Harra of Iowa in 1991. Its 19 inch high by 44 inch wide mound has foliage that comes to a point at the tip. Purple, bell-shaped flowers bloom in July.
