Hosta 'The Wind Blew'
 
aka Hosta  'Wind Blue'
 

This Tardiana-type plant of unidentified parentage was originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and registered by Rod Kuenster of Iowa in 2010. The mound is of medium size (17 inches high by 32 inches wide) with ovate leaves that are rounded at the base. Its foliage is moderately wavy at the margins, has thick substance and a moderate bloom on the underside. Very pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
