Hosta 'Tom's Dream'

This is a tissue culture sport of H. 'Joyce Trott' which was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2003 and named by the Northern Illinois Hosta Society. It is a medium size (14 inches high by 30 inches wide) plant which has medium green foliage with pale yellow to creamy white streaked variegation. The leaves are lightly wavy, ovate, flat and slightly shiny on top. Pale purple, tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...in honor of Tom Micheletti... it stabilizes to other forms, e.g., 'Joyce Trott (white-centered) and 'Joyful' (white-margined)."
