This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Lodestar' from Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) . The leaves are the reverse of the mother plant with light green foliage that has a gold medial (center) variegation. It is a medium size (16 inches high) plant which bears lavender flowers from late July into August.
