Hosta 'Turtle Dove'

This cultivar which is a hybrid of H. 'Bells of Edinborough' × H. 'Indigo' was registered by Dennis Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 2000. The miniature size mound (4 inches high by 11 inches wide) has blue-green to medium green foliage. The leaves are wavy and have smooth texture. Lavender flowers bloom in late summer.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Note that there is a much different plant with a similar name, i.e. 'Turtledove'."
