A cultivar with H. 'Sieboldiana' in its background, this non-registered cultivar is from Steve Moldovan of Moldovan Gardens in Ohio. It has blue-green foliage that is heavily corrugated. The plant size is smaller than H. 'Sieboldiana' and it bears pale lavender flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Since the name 'Turtle Dove' was registered with The American Hosta Society, the 'Turtledove' cannot be used."
