Hosta 'Upper Echelon'

That's Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery in Ohio holding the specimen of H. 'Upper Echelon'.

This medium size (14 inches high by 20 inches wide) hybrid of H. 'Ice Palace' × an unidentified hosta was registered by Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio in 2013. The intensely blue-green foliage is broadly ovate, flat and dull on top. Bell-shaped flowers bloom from June into July.

The Hosta Journal (2018 Vol. 49 No. R) states that this cultivar was originally registered as 'Uppa Echelon' which was a typographical error that has now been corrected.
