Hosta 'Versailles Blue'

This older cultivar has H. 'Elegans' in its background and was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator, Chet Tompkins. The mound of blue-green foliage grows into a large size hosta about 25 inches in height with a spread of 54 inches. Its leaves are moderately corrugated, slightly wavy with thick substance. Near white flowers in dense clusters bloom from mid-June into July.
