Hosta 'White Dove'

Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict registered this self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Beatrice' in 1995. It forms a mound 6 inches high by 17 inches wide with elliptic shaped leaves. In August, it bears white flowers.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...'White Dove' and 'White Swan' sported out of the same selfed 'Beatrice' seedling."

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Wade Botanical Gardens, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
