Hosta 'Woodland Blue'

Lucille Simpers originated this cultivar which was registered for her by Peter Ruh in 1993. This seedling of Hosta sieboldiana grows 28 inches high and 5 feet wide with wavy, somewhat unruly foliage with thick substance. The near white flowers start to bloom in mid June.

Similar cultivars include Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans'.

Seedlings include H. 'Clear Fork River Valley' and H. 'Yuma'.
