Hosta 'Great Western Gap'

Rod Kuenster of Iowa registered this hybrid of H. 'Sea Prize' × H. 'Elegans' in 2011. It grows into a large size plant about 26 inches high with a spread of around 48 inches. The medium green foliage has a creamy white marginal variegation. Its leaves are slightly rippled, nearly round, corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Pale lavender flowers with medium lavender stripes bloom from July into August.
