Hosta 'Scott Andrew'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this giant size (30 inches high by 40 inches wide) cultivar is a rhizomatous seedling of H. montana 'Aureomarginata' × H. 'Paradigm'. It is a medium green hosta with leaves that are broadly ovate, slightly folded and very shiny on top. Pale purple flowers with darker purple stripes bloom from mid-July into August on tall scapes up to 54 inches high.

The registration materials state: "...Super shiny heart-shaped leaves that come to an extended tip. Tall scapes with large flowers. Although tall and upright the plant is rhizomatous...darkens slightly as the season progresses."
