Hosta ''Sibling to Summer Fragrance''

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This plant has significance as one of Kevin Vaughn's breeding plants. Kevin found it had good fertility for a fragrant-flowered hosta, much better than its sibling, 'Summer Fragrance'."

It does not have a true cultivar name but is a hybrid of "Vaughn Seedling 73-2" which was a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Beatrice'. Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts originated this large size hosta with green foliage. This hosta bears pale lavender, fragrant flowers in August.
