A couple of decades ago, hostas were 
						often described as "cast-iron" plants that could take 
						anything you threw at them and still be great in the 
						garden. Well, as the years have passed and hundreds of 
						thousands or millions of hostas have been planted across 
						the country, it became evident that they too have some 
						problems.
							Here is a list of the things that 
						routinely bother hostas. Fortunately, many of them are 
						specific to particular types of hosts while others are 
						part of the environment in the shade.
