Hosta 'Abba Irresistible'

Of unknown origination but introduced by Paul Aden of New York and registered by Mark Zilis of T&Z or Q&Z Nursery in Illinois and The American Hosta Society in 2010, this slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size plant about 10 inches high by 28 inches wide with dark green foliage that has a creamy yellow medial (center) variegation. The leaves are ovate in shape, slightly wavy, slightly corrugated and "satiny" on the top. Pale purple flowers bloom in July but the seed set is unknown.

The registration materials state: "Creamy-whitish center with streaking of yellow-gold, light green, dark green. Leaf tip turns down on some leaves. "
