Pauline Banyai of Michigan registered this open-pollinated H. 'Blue Boy' seedling in 1987. It has heart shaped, blue green leaves and forms a  medium size (12 inches high by 18 inches wide), dense mound. The pale lavender flowers are borne from mid July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), this cultivar is "... very similar to 'Blue Cadet' in foliage & flower."
