Hosta 'Bells of Edinborough'
 

 

A seedling of H. 'Rim Rock', this cultivar was registered by Robert Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 1993. It forms a mound about 9 inches tall by 20 inches wide. The leaves are slightly wavy and slightly corrugated. Bell-shaped, medium purple flowers bloom from late July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The most noteworthy trait of this cultivar is its good show of purple flowers in late summer.
