A seedling of Hosta longipes hypoglauca, this is a non-registered cultivar from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. It forms a small size mound of green foliage with purple petioles.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio found this to have the reddest petioles in a batch of twenty seedlings from Herb Benedict."
