Hosta 'Buggy Wheels'
 

This sport of H. 'Midwest Gold' was originated by Alex Summers of Delaware and registered in 2005 by Peter Ruh of Ohio. It grows into a large size hosta around 18 inches in height with a spread of 38 inches. The foliage is heavily corrugated with a thin underside bloom and thick substance. Near-white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Grow 'Buggy Wheels' in areas that do not receive direct sunlight in spring to minimize spring desiccation burn."






   
 
 

Looks like the specimen shown above has reverted to the all-blue-green form.
