Registered by Dr. Jim and Sandy Wilkins of Michigan in 2000, this cultivar of unidentified parentage forms a large size (23 inches high) mound of moderately corrugated, shiny foliage. Many deep purple colored flowers appear from mid-July to August.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Intensely seersuckered leaves with a pebbly texture resembling a crocodile's skin when mature."
