Hosta 'Emerald Crown'
 

A cultivar registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1990, this plant is the result of a cross of an unnamed seedling of (H. 'Resonance' x "Lachman Seedling P14-3") x H. 'Halcyon'. It grows into a medium size hosta about 16 inches high with a spread of around 4 feet. The leaves are smooth textured and slightly shiny on top but very shiny on the bottom side. Lavender flowers bloom in July.

"Lachman Seedling P14-3" is a seedling of H. 'Emerald Crown' and 'Happy Valley'.
