Hosta 'Grace McClure'

Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio registered this seedling of H. 'Pin Stripe' in 1998. A medium size plant, it has a dark green leaf with wide margins of yellow to creamy white. There is a slight waviness to the leaf with smooth texture and average substance. Very pale purple flowers bloom in mid-July.

Oops! Sure looks as if this big blue hosta is clearly labeled as H. 'Grace McClure'. Unfortunately, the actual 'Grace McClure' has variegated foliage with a yellow to gold margin. It is probably the plant at the end of the white arrow and the sign has been misplaced.
