An H. 'August Moon' seedling, this cultivar is from Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio and was registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. A large size (22 inches high by 50 inches wide) plant, it has leaves which are slightly corrugated, broadly ovate, slightly wavy, slightly cupped and dull on top. Its lavender flowers bloom in July.
