Hosta 'Herman's Pride'

A hybrid of H. 'Gold Regal' × H. 'Sum and Substance', this cultivar was registered by Bob Kuk of Kuk's Forest in Ohio in 2005. The upright mound grows into a giant size hosta about 36 inches in height with a spread of around 60 inches. Its rich gold colored foliage is heavily corrugated and has deep veins. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

Herman's Pride is also a common name for an often grown groundcover in the genus, Lamiastrum.
