This open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Little Aurora' was originated and registered in 1988 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. It forms a medium size (12 inches high by 18 inches wide) mound with very broadly ovate leaves that come to a distinct tip. The foliage is slightly corrugated and has a moderate underside bloom. White flowers are borne from late July into August.
