Hosta 'Lemon Meringue'

An open pollinated seedling of Hosta hypoleuca, this cultivar was registered by Peter Ruh in 1991. The large mound is 26 inches high and spreads to about 50 inches wide with slightly corrugated, lightly rippled foliage. It bears pale lavender flowers in mid July.

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Arboretum, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
