Hosta
'Linda Sue'

A sport of H. 'Frances Williams', this cultivar was registered by Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio in 1999. It forms a large size clump about 20 inches high and 50 inches wide with heavily corrugated foliage with thick substance. The near white flowers in dense clusters bloom in mid-June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...does not suffer from much spring desiccation burn...Its overall size does not reach the proportions of 'Frances Williams', which may be due to its polyploid nature."

An article in The Hosta Journal (2013 Vol. 44 No. 2) states that this was named for the daughter of Van and Shirley Wade.
