Hosta 'Mama Mia'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a medium size (14 inches high by 40 inches wide) plant with foliage that is heavily corrugated, broadly ovate and slightly rippled. Lavender flowers appear in July on scapes about 24 inches tall.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This Herb Benedict introduction appears very similar to 'Wide Brim' and could be the same."
