This cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Undulata' × H. ventricosa 'Aureomaculata' which was introduced by Eldren Minks of Minnesota. It forms a medium size plant with heart shaped leaves. The foliage is wavy and slightly corrugated. Semi-bell-shaped flowers of pale purple open in July.
