Hosta 'Sea Gold Star'

Part of the "Sea Series' of hostas, this large size seedling of H. 'Wagon Wheels' was registered by Mildred Seaver in 1984. The mound grows to a height of 28 inches and 68 inches wide. The leaves are broadly oblong to ovate with irregularly rippled margins and deeply lobed bases. Its near white flowers bloom in late June.

Similar cultivars include H. 'City Lights' and H. 'El Dorado'.

Sports include H. 'Gaynor Miller' and H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'.
