Hosta 'Starburst'
 

An open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Beatrice', this cultivar was registered by Mervin Eisel of Minnesota in 1973. The small size plant has streaked in the center and have a white marginal variegation. Its leaves are wavy and have thin substance. Lavender flowers bloom in late August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...often reverts to a more stable, green-centered form, which Van Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery (Closed 2019) of Ohio has named 'Edged Starburst'."
