Hosta 'Step Sister'

This non-registered sport of H. 'Sunlight Sister' was introduced by Gerald Draheim of Michigan and Gary Trucks of Michigan.

The medium size mound grows to 15 inches in height and a width of 40 inches with foliage that is ovate in shape, slightly wavy, slightly corrugated with deep veins. Its near white flowers bloom from late June.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Slow to increase...virtually pure white flowers."
