Registered by Pauline Banyai of Michigan in 1992, this seedling of a green leaved seedling of H. 'Beatrice', forms a dense mound of slightly wavy, green foliage. It produces large numbers of bell-shaped purple flowers in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), it is "...one of the best for flower effect."
