Hosta 'Thanksgiving'

This large size (12 inches high by 20 inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gold Regal' which was registered by Ron Snyder of Minnesota in 2000. It is an upright growing hosta with greenish yellow foliage that has a creamy white marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, round at the base and slightly shiny on top. Its lavender, striped flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The variegation of 'Thanksgiving' is only discernible from a close distance."
