This cultivar is part of the "Warwick Series" of hosta cultivars developed by
Dr. Lloyd (Gil) Jones and it was registered in 1999. It is a hybrid of a
variegated H. 'Christmas Tree'
and H. 'Dorset Blue' which
forms a medium sized mound. The foliage is cupped, moderately
corrugated and has thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom
in late June to July.
Sports included H. 'Green Cups'.
