In 1990, Peter Ruh of Ohio registered this cultivar on behalf of the originator, Lucille Simpers of Indiana. This self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Fountain'grows into a large size hosta about 2 feet high which spreads to about 5 feet wide. It has moderately corrugated, heavily rippled foliage of thick substance. The near white flowers start to bloom in mid-June.
