Ragweed, Bursages, Burrobrushes

There are about 50 species of plants in this genus. They originate mostly in the tropical and subtropical regions of North America. The genus name is from the Greek ambrosia, the "food of the gods. Ragweed pollen causes allergic reactions in humans.
