Serviceberry, Shadbush, Shadblow, Sugarplum, Saskatoonberry or Shadwood

This genus of about 20 species consists primarily of shrubs and small trees. They are native to the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The name is from the French name for the one of the species.
