Catalpa

Comprised of over 50 species, this genus is also sometimes called catawba. They are flowering trees that are native primarily to the temperate regions of North America, the Caribbean and East Asia.

Catalpa trees tend to be large and coarse textured. They should be used carefully, if at all, in the home landscape.
