Quince, Flowering Quince

This genus consists of 3 species of deciduous and spiny shrubs. They are native to Japan, China and other parts of Asia.

Although the fruit of the quince can be eaten, many of the shrub type plants are used in the home landscape strictly for their beautiful flowers.
