	Small tree with traits similar to Acer palmatum.
	15 to 25 feet
	Opposite, simple, 2 to 4” long and wide, 5-lobed, finely serrate, middle lobe with 5 to 8 pairs of lateral veins, finely reticulate, medium green above, lustrous and glabrous beneath; petiole 2 to 3” long.
	Rich shades of orange and red.
	A heat tolerant species.
