Euphorbia characias subsp. Wulfenii
Mediterranean Euphorbia
Mediterranean.htm">Western Mediterranean Region

Upright stems create a dome-shaped plant
4 feet tall and 3 feet wide
The clustered flowers make round to cylindrical dense masses of chartreuse to lime green colors. They appear to be huge lime green bottle brushes terminating each stem. This color remains with little fading until the seeds ripen.
Early spring
The evergreen leaves are arranged in close spirals on the thick, pithy stems. The blue green, glaucous, leaves are alternately arranged, oblong lanceolate, 4 inches long and taper to a short petiole.
