Euphorbia myrsinites
Myrtle Euphorbia
5-9
Mediterranean Region

6-8 inches prostrate plant with 12-15 inches long trailing stems.
Unisexual flowers are contained in several cyathia in 7-12 rayed umbels. The greenish flowers, which are inconspicuous, are subtended by attractive pale yellow bracts.

The fleshy, glaucous blue-green leaves are borne in close spirals which resemble a whorled leaf arrangement. Individual leaves are obovate to obovate-oblong, ˝ inch long, abruptly short-mucronate and sessile. The leaves remain on the plant during the winter and retain their blue-green attractiveness when protected from winter sun and wind.

Full sun preferably on the dry side.
