Erect, many branched perennial
2-3 feet tall and 18 inches wide.
Single magenta-pink flowers are 1 inch wide and are borne on very long peduncles. The flowers are profusely produced.
Late spring through early summer.
Opposite leaves, oval or oblong to ovate, up to 5 inches long. The lower leaves have a petiole. the upper leaves are sessile. The stems and leaves are grayish-white and densely pubescent.
 
 
  • 'Abbottswood Rose' - Brilliant magenta flowers on a compact plant, 24 inches tall.
  • 'AIba' - White flowers.
  • 'Atrosanguinea' - Carmine-red flowers.
