Oval, rounded canopy.
40 to 50 feet tall.
 
 
Alternate, simple, linear-lan­ceolate, 2 to 4” long, 1/3 to 3/5” wide. Emerge as bright green and then turn to dark green.
 
 
 
 

 

More drought tolerant than most willows.

  • 'Golden Curls' - Shrub or small tree with golden stems that are somewhat curled.
  • 'Navajo' - 20 foot tall, round top tree.
  • 'Pendula' - Pendulous branches.
  • 'Scarlet Curls' - Red stems in the winter and curled leaves.
  • 'Snake' - Contorted branches.
  • 'Tortuosa' - Dragon's Claw Willow with contorted branches.
